COVID19 GUIDELINES

WATERLEMON EMPLOYEES & GUESTS

 

GENERAL HEALTH PRACTICES 

  1. Signage is made visible at entry with face covering and social distancing requirements, while information regarding cleaning protocols, COVID-19 policies and any reduced capacity limits are made available online on www.waterlemonkids.com
  2. Employees and Guests will wear face coverings over their nose and mouth when within 6-ft. of others. Exceptions may be made where accommodations are appropriate per IDHR’s guidance.
  3. Customers (2 years and older) should wear face coverings over their nose and mouth (exceptions can be made for people with medical conditions or disabilities that prevent them from safely wearing a face covering)
  4. An acrylic barrier has been installed at checkout between employees and customers
  5. Customers are encouraged to check for available capacity before visiting the facility. We have switched to an online booking platform to reserve a private table in the cafe in conjunction with play. 
  6. Café seating has been set 6-ft. apart to encourage social distancing. Only one group/family per table will be permitted. 5 person max per table.
  7. Pre-packaged “grab and go” snacks as well as beverages are available with 6’ between customers in queue.
  8. Masks can be removed when eating or drinking in the café
  9. Social distance of at least 6-ft. will be maintained between non-household individuals unless participating in activities. Activities should be limited to 15 people per group.
  10. Hand washing capabilities and sanitizer are available to all employees and customers
  11. Frequent hand washing by employees and customers is recommended
  12. Strollers will not be permitted into Waterlemon during Phase 4.
  13. Use of closet/cubbies will not be permitted during Phase 4.

  

HEALTH MONITORING POLICY FOR EMPLOYEES

  1. Employees will take their own temperature and report any symptoms they may have to management at the start and end of every shift as part of Waterlemon’s employee screening program. Information about COVID-19 Symptoms are posted in the back office to allow employees to self-assess their symptoms and determine if they need to go home.
  2. If an employee reports having any COVID-19 related symptoms, they should remain isolated at home for a minimum of 10 days after symptom onset OR until feverless and feeling well (without fever-reducing medication) for at least 72 hours OR confirmed to not have COVID-19 via 2 negative COVID-19 tests in a row, with testing done at least 24 hours apart
  3. If an employee reports having any COVID-19 related symptoms, they are encouraged to contact their health care provider; if multiple employees report having any COVID-19 related symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, local health departments will be notified within one day of being informed of the prevalence of COVID-19 symptoms or positive test results
  4. If an employee is identified as being COVID-19 positive by testing, CDC cleaning and disinfecting will be performed according to CDC guidelines
  5. Where appropriate, employees who may have been exposed will be notified. However, Waterlemon will not identify an employee who tested positive by name
  6. Any employee who has had close contact with a co-worker or any other person (Close contacts include household contacts, intimate contacts, or contacts within 6-ft. for 15 minutes or longer unless wearing N95 mask during period of contact.) who is diagnosed with COVID-19 should quarantine for 14 days after the last/most recent contact with the infectious individual and should seek a COVID-19 test at a state or local government testing center, healthcare center or other testing locations. All other employees should be on alert for symptoms of fever, cough, or shortness of breath and taking temperature if symptoms develop.

 

HEALTH MONITORING POLICY FOR GUESTS/CUSTOMERS

 

  1. Before being granted entrance into Waterlemon’s café and or play area, a Waterlemon employee will ask whether the customer or their child(ren) is currently exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. If a participant does have symptoms, they should wait to enter premises until they have had no fever for at least 72 hours, other symptoms have improved, and at least 10 days have passed since their symptoms first appeared.
  2. A Waterlemon employee will take customers temperatures using a touchless thermometer upon arrival and before entering the café or recreation areas. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4°F or above will not be permitted to remain on site.
  3. Waterlemon employees also have the right to refuse entry to any adult and/or child with a runny nose, or cold like symptoms. If a Waterlemon employee notices a customer exhibiting cold like symptoms after they’ve been permitted entry, they may be asked to leave and will be refunded their entry/play fee.

 

REDUCED OCCUPANCY BY SPACE

 

RETAIL

(MAX OCCUPANCY 9) 

  • Social Distancing - 6’
  • Masks Staff - On at all times when around customers
  • Masks Adults - On at all times when in the retail area
  • Masks Children - children over 2 on at all times when in the retail area
  • Cleaning Protocol - every 90 minutes, iPad and credit card reader after each use.

 

CAFÉ

(MAX OCCUPANCY 15) 

  • Social Distancing- 6’, table seating spaced 6’, 5 total tables with a max capacity of 5 people per table. If your groupl/family exceeds 5 guests, an add’l table purchase will be required. Add’l seats may not be pulled up to a table.
  • Each family gets their own table for 90 minutes. Appointments will be taken online and space will be filled on a first come first serve basis after all reservations have been confirmed.

  • Masks Adults- Must remain on when not eating or drinking
  • Masks Children- Must remain on when not eating or drinking
  • Cleaning Protocol- as needed based on use and every 90 minutes in between play groups
  • Health Screening- patrons will be asked a short questionnaire and temperatures will be checked using a no touch thermometer.

 

PLAY

(MAX OCCUPANCY 13) 

  • Social Distancing- 6’ whenever possible
  • Masks Staff- On at all times when around customers
  • Masks Adults- On at all times
  • Masks Children- children over 2 on at all times when in the play area
  • Cleaning Protocol- as needed based on use and every 90 minutes in between play groups
  • Health Screening- patrons will be asked a short questionnaire and temperatures will be checked using a no touch thermometer.

 

PARTY

(MAX OCCUPANCY 28) 

  • Social Distancing- 6’ whenever possible
  • Masks Staff- On at all times when around customers
  • Masks Adults- Must remain on when not eating or drinking
  • Masks Children- Must remain on when not eating or drinking
  • Cleaning Protocol- as needed based on use and after every party time slot
  • Health Screening- patrons will be asked a short questionnaire and temperatures will be checked using a no touch thermometer.

 

CLEANING PROTOCOL

 

  1. Cleaning and disinfecting of premises will be conducted in compliance with CDC protocols on a daily basis
  2. Clean and disinfect common areas (e.g., restrooms, cafeterias) and surfaces which are touched by multiple people (e.g., entry/exit doorknobs, stair railings) frequently; every 2 hours recommended for high-traffic areas. If one space is used by multiple participant groups at different points in time, all common areas and high-touch surfaces should be disinfected between groups
  3. Hand sanitizer is available to all participants in multiple locations throughout the space.
  4. Minimize sharing of objects between non household individuals; if objects are to be shared, employees will sanitize equipment before and after use, including at the beginning and end of each play group and during play as needed
  5. Clean and disinfect occupied tables and seats between use by different groups or parties, and again at closing time
  6. Cash register, credit card reader, iPads and other equipment frequently touched will be disinfected after each use.
