Let's Party!

Waterlemon is Chicagoland's coolest new children's party venue! Our cafe and play space are perfect for children 5-years-old and younger who are celebrating a birthday, christening or any other milestone! The following 2-hour time slots are available on Saturday and Sunday only and allow 30 minutes for each party to set up and 30 minutes to breakdown. 

Stroller space is limited so we kindly ask that they be left in your car/home whenever possible please!

PARTY TIME SLOTS

  • 10:00am-12:00pm  (9:30-10:00 set up, 12:00-12:30 clean) 
  • 2:00pm-4:00pm (1:30-2:00 set up, 4:00-4:30 clean)

Party of the Century!

$725 

  • 2-hour party rental for up to 20 children.
  • Full use of play space and café seating area
  • Free WIFI 
  • Staff member to assist with setup and breakdown of party
  • Use of tables & chairs
  • Outside food & drink is allowed
  • Organic juice boxes (1 per child) 
  • Bottled water (1 per guest including children)
  • 3 large cheese pizzas for children 
  • Your choice of themed tableware for children’s tables only (tableware includes: large plates, cake plates, large and small napkins, utensils, cups, paper straws & tablecloths)
  • Plain white paper plates, napkins, cups & cutlery for adults
  • 20 12” balloons in preferred color palette 
  • Crown for birthday boy/girl 
  • Happy Birthday Banner (choice of color)
  • 1 Large Nothing Bundt Cake (in choice of flavor, cake is frosted, not decorated)

PARTY GUIDELINES:

  •  The maximum # of guests allowed per party must not exceed 40 (this number includes both children & adults. A child is considered anyone 12 years old or younger.) 
  • All packages include the private rental of the café seating area, which will accommodate formal seating for 14 children and 8 adults. Additional pop-up seating available upon request at no additional charge. However, limitations apply, so please call, email or visit us in person before booking. 
  • The retail area will be open to the public during party times. Parties take place in the cafe and play area, there is no separate party room, curtain or separating wall between the retail boutique and the designated party area. However, the party will be guarded off with stanchions to prevent entry of non-guests. 
  • All packages include the private use of the play space along with free WIFI.
  • A dedicated staff member will assist you with setup & breakdown. 
  • A one hour courtesy reminder will be provided to ensure any cake cutting or gift giving can be completed in the allocated time.
  • A fifteen minute courtesy reminder will be provided before the two hour party time is up. All party guests must begin filing out at the end of the two hour booking, not the end of the designated 30 minute cleaning period.
  • All packages include an optional pop-up food/gift table with white tablecloths. 
  • Tablecloths are required for all tables if not included in your package.
  • Outside food & drink is allowed. 
  • All guests must wear socks (non-skid recommended) and follow our standard play space guidelines.
  • All guests must sign a waiver.
  • Children older than 5 who are attending the party, as well as adults, must not enter the main play structure or use the slides. If there are any repeated entries of this nature the playhouse will need to close for safety reasons for the remainder of the party.
  • Party hosts agree to scheduled time slots. If a host arrives late, the party will still end at the scheduled time. Additional fees will apply for parties that run late!
  • All party hosts are responsible for cleaning up after their parties. An additional fee may be charged for excessive spills, messes or damages. Cleaning supplies and trash bags will be provided by Waterlemon. 
  • All party hosts are responsible for removal of all their party decorations. 
  • Upgrades or downgrades of packages are allowed up to 1 week prior to event.
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit will be taken at time of booking. The remaining balance as well as any add-on's will be taken the day of the event.   
  • Please no drop-off, unloading or double-parking in front of Waterlemon. There is a designated parking spot behind the building for party hosts to load and unload supplies. Party host must move their vehicle immediately after loading/unloading. 
  • Final headcount for adults and children is due 24 hours ahead of the event. If on the day of the event, the number of guests exceeds prior given headcount, party host will be charged the appropriate additional amount listed within their package. Please note there is a maximum of 20 children allowed. 
  • Command hooks are required for any décor hung on walls – no thumbtacks, tape, glue or nails permitted.
  • No arts & crafts setups allowed. 
  • Please no face painting, glitter, bubbles or piñatas allowed.
  • No food or beverages allowed in the play area. 
  • No pets allowed unless they are service animals (prior notification to Waterlemon management is requested). An additional fee may apply if special cleanup is required after an animal leaves. No animals are allowed in the main play structure. 
  • No alcohol, smoking or drug use of any kind is allowed. 
  • Waterlemon is not responsible for lost or stolen items or for any physical harm done to anyone while attending an event/party.
  • Outside entertainment may be allowed only with prior management approval.
  • By providing a deposit for booking, the host agrees to all of Waterlemon's guidelines and is obligated to inform their guests of any pertinent information regarding play, safety and usage guidelines of the space.The host also agrees that they are responsible for all their guests and any noncompliance of any attendees will be addressed directly with the host.
