Waterlemon’s Parents’ Night Out is finally here!
Friends! After 7 years of you asking, I’m beyond thrilled to introduce Date-Night Drop-Off at Waterlemon: every Friday in April!
Like all of you, I LOVE a great date night. But let’s be honest… they’re not always easy to pull off. They require planning, negotiating, strategizing, overthinking, worrying, stressing and suddenly all the fun we were supposed to be having disappears before the night even begins.
Well… those days are over! Consider me your fairy date-night godmother, because I’m granting the wish you’ve been making since 2019: a fun, safe, reliable, and trusted option for your kids while you enjoy a well-deserved night out.
To make it happen seamlessly, I’ve teamed up with one of the best in the business: Busy Bees Babysitting — a name many of you likely already know and trust because they’re such a strong part of our community. With more than 11 years in the business, they are one of the nation’s most trusted childcare providers, with caregivers who are CPR-certified and background checked. Amanda, Diana, and I have spent months planning this program, putting a lot of thought and care into creating something special for our community, and I’m thrilled to finally be sharing it with you.
Here’s what to expect:
• Drop-off play for ages 5+
• Crafts & creative activities
• Games + supervised play
• Optional pizza + juice add-on (or kids can bring their own dinner/snacks)
How it works:
Drop your child off anytime after 4:30 PM and pick them up before 7:30 PM.
You’ll sign a waiver (just like during open play), give a hug, and head out to enjoy your evening.
Children will be supervised by a Busy Bees caregiver, with a Waterlemon staff member present at all times.
Fridays in April
4:30–7:30 PM
Ages 5+ only (for now — we hope to expand to younger children in the near future!)
Spots are very limited to maintain safe ratios and a comfortable experience for children, so advance booking is required.
This program is being offered as a pilot for the month of April while we test the format and gather feedback from families. If the response is strong and the program is successful, our hope is to make Parents’ Night Out a regular offering at Waterlemon, and potentially expand it beyond Friday date nights into additional days, hours, and age groups in the future.
Please note that this event is offered at a flat rate for the full time block (4:30–7:30 PM). Whether your child stays for one hour or the entire event, the ticket price remains the same.
Because staffing is scheduled in advance, bookings are non-refundable out of respect for the Bees.
After booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire so we can get to know your child a little better (allergies, emergency contacts, etc.). Full details are available on our website, or feel free to call us with any questions.
